Gonzalo is currently on staff with Northern Virginia Alliance (NVA), Loudoun's Soccer new elite academy program catering to their ECNL boys and girls groups.

Gonzalo was born in Lima, Peru and currently resides in Leesburg, Virginia along with his family. He signed his first professional contract at age 18 playing for Peruvian powerhouse Club Sporting Cristal and subsequently with Deportivo AELU. After moving to the United States, Gonzalo attended the University of South Florida. During his Junior and Senior years his team reached the NCAA Sweet 16 and NCAA Elite 8 respectively, becoming the Big East Conference Champions for the first time in school’s history. After college Gonzalo traveled to Germany on trial with various teams in the top flights of the German league system. During his time in Germany, Gonzalo represented FC Oberneuland, Brinkumer SV and Bremer SV.
Gonzalo’s vision is to make The Lab a recognized brand known for its professionalism in developing soccer players’ skill set while building all around individuals. He is a US Soccer Federation (USSF), UEFA and CONMEBOL licensed coach.
